What Determines the Scope of Earthworks?
Plots of the same size can need very different amounts of work. Flat land may require only a small excavation, while sloping land may need cutting, soil movement and several working levels.
Excavation and trenching depend on dimensions and depth; backfilling depends on the area and the height to be added. If you have a plan with levels or requirements from your builder, send it with your photos for a more accurate estimate.
We also check whether excavated soil can be reused on site or needs to be removed and replaced with suitable material. Access, machine working space and water runoff affect equipment choice, truck trips and timing.
