Start with access and working space. Entrance width, gradients, gate height, walls and other obstacles matter. The machine needs room not only to enter, but also to turn and operate its boom.
Next, consider digging depth, soil and volume. A compact machine suits a tight yard, while a larger excavator may finish a large excavation sooner. The lowest hourly rate does not always mean the lowest total cost.
Send a map pin, photos of the access and working area, and the dimensions of the excavation or trench. We’ll recommend a model and give an initial time estimate. Mention any need for a hydraulic breaker or dump truck loading.
